| Removal |

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Remove the tail gate trim.
(Refer to Body - "Tail Gate Trim") |

Disconnect the anti-pinch strip sensor connector (A).

Remove the anti-pinch strip (A) after disconnecting the mounting clip.

Install the smart tailgate anti-pinch strip. |

Disconnect the smart tailgate anti-pinch strip sensor connector. |

Install the tail gate trim. |
| 4. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
