Kia Sedona: Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IATS) Repair procedures

Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
2. |
Disconnect the IATS connector. |
3. |
Measure resistance between the IATS terminals 3 and 4. |
4. |
Check that the resistance is within the specification.

Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal. |
2. |
Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector (A). |
3. |
Remove the mounting bolt (B), and then lift up to remove the sensor from the air cleaner assembly.

Install the component to the specified torques. |
•
|
Note that internal damage may occur when the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect before installing. |
•
|
Insert the sensor in the installation hole and be careful not to damage sensor when installing.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Intake air temperature sensor mounting bolt :
3.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)
