Kia Sedona: Power Steering Gear Box Repair procedures| Removal |

Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from front hub.

Loosen the bolt (A) and then disconnect the universal joint assembly (B) from the pinion of the steering gear box.

| 3. |
Disconnect the pressure hose (A), return hose (B) and then drain the power steering fluid.
|
| 4. |
Remove the front sub frame.
(Refer to Suspension System - "Sub Frame" - proceed on step 4) |
| 5. |
Remove the bolt (A) and nut (B) from the heat protector.
|
| 6. |
Disconnect the pressure hose bracket bolt (A).
|
| 7. |
Disconnect the gear box fit tube (A).
|
| 8. |
Disconnect the gear box (A) from the sub frame.
|
| 9. |
Install in the reverse order of removal. |
| 10. |
Check the wheel Alignment.

| Installation |

Install in the reverse order of removal. |
| 2. |
Bleed the power steering system.
(Refer to General Information - "Repair procedures(Air bleeding)") |
| 3. |
Add power steering fluid to reservoir. |
