Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Remove the driver airbag module.
(Refer to Restraint - "Driver Airbag (DAB) Module and Clock Spring") |

Remove the steering wheel remote control switch (A) after loosening the screw.

Disconnect the steering wheel remote control switch connector (A).
|
| Installation |
| 1. |
Install the steering wheel remote control switch after connecting the connector.
|
| 2. |
Install the driver airbag module. |
| 3. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| Inspection |
| 1. |
Check for resistance between terminals in each switch position(LH).

The body electrical system can be quickly diagnosed for faulty parts using vehicle diagnostic system (GDS).
The diagnostic system (GDS) provides the following information:

Select the ''Steering wheel remote control'' and the system to be checked in order to check the vehicle with the tester. |

Select the ''Steering wheel remote control (SWRC)'' to check the Steering wheel remote control (SWRC)

Select the "Current date" menu to search the current state of the input/output data.
The input/output data for the sensors corresponding to the ''Premium AVN'' can be checked. |
