Inspection
1.
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect the IATS connector.
3.
Measure resistance between the IATS terminals 3 and 4.
4.
Check that the resistance is within the specification.

Removal
1.
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
2.
Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector (A).
3.
Remove the mounting bolt (B), and then lift up to remove the sensor from the air cleaner assembly.

Installation
   
•
Install the component to the specified torques.
•
Note that internal damage may occur when the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect before installing.
•
Insert the sensor in the installation hole and be careful not to damage sensor when installing.
1.
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Intake air temperature sensor mounting bolt :
3.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)
