Description
Burglar Alarm State [B/A State]
B/A State
Description
DISARM
1)
In "DISARM" state, vehicle start inhibition is disabled. So, when door, hood, or tailgate is opened, there is no alarm sound and flashing.
2)
If the battery is disconnected at a state other than "ARM/ARMWAIT/ALARM/REARM", B/A state will be set to "DISARM".
3)
In "DISARM" state, security indicator keeps blinking.
ARMWAIT
1)
In "ARMWAIT" state, after the timer of "30 sec." has elapsed, the state enters the "ARM" state.
2)
If the battery is disconnected while the state is in "ARMWAIT", B/A state will set to "ARMWAIT" state and the timer of "30 sec." will be restarted.
3)
In "ARMWAIT" state, security indicator keeps on.

※ Remark: On Smart key system, it works in the same way as passive lock.
B/A State
Description
AUTO LOCK TIMER 1
1)
In "AUTOLOCKTIMER1" state, timer of "30 sec." is running. If this timer expires, the auto lock command, "Lock command", is generated.
2)
When "Lock command" is operated while all doors are closed and locked, then, B/A state changes from "AUTOLOCKTIMER1" to "ARMWAIT".
3)
In "AUTOLOCKTIMER1" state, Security Indicator keeps blinking. In "AUTOLOCKTIMER1" state, timer of "30 sec." is running. If this timer expires, the auto lock command, "Lock command", is generated. When "Lock command" is operated while all doors are closed and locked, then, B/A state changes from "AUTOLOCKTIMER1" to "ARMWAIT".

※ Remark: On Smart key system, it works in the same way as passive lock.
B/A State
Description
AUTO LOCK TIMER 2
1)
In "AUTOLOCKTIMER2" state, when timer of "30 sec." expires, the auto lock command, "Lock command", is generated.
2)
This is when "Lock command" is operated while all doors are closed whereas hood or tailgate is open. In this case, after the timer of "30 sec." has elapsed, the auto lock command, "Lock command" is operated.
3)
Because the hood or tailgate is open, the B/A state cannot automatically change to "ARMWAIT". (Retain "PRE ARM" state.)
4)
In "AUTOLOCKTIMER2" state, Security Indicator keeps blinking.

※ Remark: On Smart key system, it works in the same way as passive lock.
B/A State
Description
PRE ARM
1)
The "PREARM" state is operated when user tries to change to arm but pre-conditions are not satisfied (e.g. door open, tailgate open, or hood open).
2)
B/A state changes to "PREARM" when TX Lock command occurs with any door Open, Hood or Tailgate Open.
3)
B/A state changes to "PREARM" when "30 sec." timer expires in "AUTOLOCKTIMER2" with Hood or Tailgate Open.
4)
The "PREARM" state changes to "ARM" when all doors are closed and locked, and hood and tailgate are closed.
5)
The "PREARM" state changes to "DISARM" when Any Doors are Unlocked.
6)
In this state, Security Indicator keeps blinking.

B/A State
Description
RE ARM

Security Indicator keeps blinking.

B/A State
Description
AUTOLOCK TIMER3
1)
B/A state changes to "AUTOLOCKTIMER3" when TX-Tailgate command is operated.
2)
B/A state changes from "AUTOLOCKTIMER3" to "ARMWAIT" when the "30 sec." timer expires with all doors closed and locked.
3)
B/A state changes from "AUTOLOCKTIMER3" to "DISARM" when any door is open.
4)
In "AUTOLOCKTIMER3" state, the "30 sec." timer is running. When this timer expires, the state changes to "PREARM" with Tailgate Open.
5)
In this state, Security Indicator keeps blinking.

B/A State
Description
ARM HOLD
 (Alarm hold : Trunk)
※Non-PTL   option
1)
The ARM HOLD mode is similar to the trunk alarm hold mode in previous vehicle models.
2)
When the trunk is opened by a remote controller (including the smart key) in ARM mode, the Hold mode will be turned on, in which the theft alarm is held for the trunk.
3)
As long as the trunk is open, ARM HOLD mode continues.
4)
When the trunk is closed, the 30 sec. timer is activated. Since the ARM HOLD mode is on for 30 sec., the theft alarm is not issued even though the trunk is open.
5)
ARM mode is on immediately after 30 sec. has elapsed after the trunk is closed.
6)
Even in ARM HOLD mode, the doors and hood are in the ARM mode, and hence, the alarm will be issued in case of theft.
7)
The Security Indicator keeps blinking during ARM HOLD mode.

Note 1: ARM HOLD is a function that holds the ARM mode on the trunk. It keeps the ARM mode on the door and hood.
Note 2: When using the ignition key to open the trunk, the ARM HOLD function works in the same way, provided that the "Door Key Burglar Alarm" function should be enabled. if this is disabled, the key-based ARM HOLD is off and using the key to opening the trunk is determined as a theft and the alarm is issued.
B/A State
Description
RE ARM
(ARM mode is on again)
1)
If the door, hood and trunk are all closed after the termination of ALARM mode, it means that the ARM mode is on again.
2)
At this time, the actuator state (door lock/unlock) is ignored and ARM mode is kept until the remote control signal is received (normal ARM mode).
3)
The security indicator keeps flickering during this mode.
RESET
1)
When the battery is removed in ALARM or RE ARM mode, RESET mode is on.
2)
When the battery is installed again after RESET, the theft alarm operation resumes (outputs ON/OFF for 27 sec./10 sec. respectively instead of remaining output).

B/A State
Description
KEY ON 30 second deactivation
(Non-Smart Key option)
1)
For non-smart cars, a 30-second standby with the ignition key on during ALARM mode will deactivate the theft alarm status.
2)
Even before 30 sec. has elapsed, when the engine starts (Alternator "L" terminal voltage is HI; sent from the cluster module via CAN data.), the theft alarm is instantly deactivated. (No start proposition control: The immobilizer system is applied by default and the engine start by the registered immobilizer key is allowed even during the alarm activation.)
※In a smart key vehicle, the alarm is deactivated instantly after the smart key authentication.
When ARM mode is on, the trunk OPEN and central door unlock are not allowed.
1)
From the moment that the remote controller or smart key based all door lock is activated and ARM standby mode (ARM WAIT) is on, the central door unlock switch of the indoor trunk unlock switch or DDM & ADM (driver seat power window switch & passenger seat power window switch) is disabled. (theft prevention)
※This function works in the same in ARM WAIT, ARM, ALARM and RE ARM modes.
