Removal and Installation
1.
Drain engine oil.
(Refer to Lubrication System - "Engine Oil")
2.
Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine And Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")
3.
Remove the lower oil pan.
(Refer to Lubrication System - "Oil Pan")
4.
Remove the oil pump chain cover (A).

Tightening torque :
9.8 ~ 11.8N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7lb-ft)

5.
Remove the bolt (A) and then separate the chain with sprocket from the oil pump.

Tightening torque :
18.6 ~ 21.6N.m (1.9 ~ 2.2kgf.m, 13.7 ~ 15.9lb-ft)

6.
Remove the oil pump (A).

Tightening torque :
20.6 ~ 22.6N.m (2.1 ~ 2.3kgf.m, 15.2 ~ 16.6lb-ft)

   
When installing, use a new O-ring.
7.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
8.
After assembly, wait for at least 30 minutes before filling the engine with oil.
